I don’t think that I could pick one person (I know that sounds like I am a politician!). I think that everyone is really interesting and I really enjoy taking part in the chats with them all.

So, yeah, I am chickening out of actually picking one, but I don’t think that it’s fair for me to pick one out of such a great bunch.

Haha I agree! I find Lewis’s work the most exciting to hear about, because it is so far away from what I do. But I still wouldn’t want to have to pick, as all of the other work is really interesting too!

To be honest, Ian has a lot of experience with communicating science to young people, so he has the guaranteed knowledge to spend the award money in a productive way. However it’s good to let other people try these things and as Jess is a STEM ambassador, she has the contacts set up already to go into schools and carry out her science communication work. I think the award money should be spent on encouraging young people to get into science so I’d go with Jess.

I would probably vote for Ian! (I secretly love the idea of 3-D printers)

Jess – Lewis has the automatic appeal of animals and I’m not getting any younger so someday soon I might find myself needing a medical device Jess has had a hand in – if I’m nice to her now, maybe she’ll go easy on me…
