      Definitely the pond water – if you google ‘extreme pond dipping’ you’ll find some of the stuff I did. It started as a bit of a joke but I was amazed at the things I found just in a tiny drop of pond water at magnifications that would make even a bacteria look big. On quite days I still nip out and grab a bit from the pond for another look – it keeps me in practice.
