      Hello! My sister has epilepsy too. I don’t know that much about the drugs, because I don’t study the brain. I do know that there are different types of epilepsy, and the drugs that you need to take will differ depending on this. They are used to control seizures rather than cure epilepsy, and the drugs you need might change as you grow. My sister has tried different combinations of drugs over her life, and now hasn’t had a seizure since she was at school (she is 27) but still needs to take the drugs. She is a scientist too!
