  Chimps usually try pretty hard to solve the puzzles, because they know that they will get a tasty bit of food (like a grape) if they solve it. However, the way chimps try to solve puzzle is often by bashing the puzzle very hard! So we have to make the puzzles very strong to stop them just breaking them.
