  Drug development takes a really, really long time. As I have only been a (proper) scientist for 3 years I haven’t made anything that has gone all the way to the shelf yet. But it would be very difficult to produce a drug that is harmful (assuming that the patient is taking it correctly), because we have such careful testing in the UK.
