• Question: how did you come to do zoology? im quite intrested in this area of work :)

      Actually, my route was a little weird. I originally wanted to be a vet and, although I like all parts of biology, I have always been most interested in animals (which is what zoology is – the study of animals). I didn’t get a place on a veterinary course, so I decided to do zoology instead.

      There are lots of ways to work with animals – for example, courses on zoology, animal behaviour, animal management. It depends what you are interested in, but there is so much you can do.
