      Yep – athlete’s food is a fungus and loads of people get it and ordinary molds can infect peoples lungs but to get actual fluffy mold like you’re thinking you’d have to be in a very bad way. It can happen with gangrene which is where blood flow to a part of the body is cut off for so long that it actually dies and rots even though it’s still attached. You should probably see a doctor long before that happens.
