I’m not a physicist, so I don’t really know the answer to this! From what I have heard it some people think that it just might be possible, but it won’t happen for a very long time.

We already know that a clock in orbit on a satellite goes slower than one on earth so we know it’s possible to go forwards in time but as for getting back, I don’t think we’ll ever find a way to change or visit the past – but it would be really cool, I want my pet dinosaur!

I don’t do physics either, but I don’t think we will be able to go back in time in the way that films portray it. Just because we would probably have seen evidence of people coming back in time already? I don’t know though!

No idea! But it’s pretty fun in novels and films. Try ‘A wrinkle in time’ by Madeleine L’Engle if you’re interested in this kind of stuff: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wrinkle-Time-Puffin-Modern-Classics/dp/0140372318/ref=tag_stp_s2_edpp_url

Also, every once in a while we’ll have someone say that time as we think about it, is an illusion – it’s interesting to think about but makes my head hurt.

If you can somehow get to watch Brian Cox’s BBC lecture called The Science Of Doctor Who, he gives a great explanation on the possibility of time travel!
