      Some vaccines actually do use live forms of the virus, but they are very tiny amounts, and have been damaged in some way to stop them being harmful to us.

      Vaccines are very safe though, they save millions of lives every year. The production of them is very carefully monitored, so they don’t make mistakes and accidentally put the wrong thing in!
