      Humans and other primates (monkeys and apes) have quite similar looking brains in many ways. However, there is one huge difference: size. A human brain is about three times bigger than a chimp brain (and has more folds in it, which makes the outside of it even larger.

      Most of bits that you find in the brains are the same, but there are some interesting differences in size. For example, the front bit of the brain (called the pre-frontal cortex) is much bigger in humans than in other animals. This is the bit that controls things like our decision making and our social lives.
