STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and maths. It is an organisation that helps scientists reach the general public, in particular school students, in order to encourage their interests in science. The STEM organisation helps us with the training and puts teachers in touch with scientists. For example if a school want to run a science fair, and want a scientist to come and judge the competition, then they can ask STEM to put them in touch.

STEM run training days at my university, so I went along and got involved from there.
