Question: You said you wish everyone would ride bikes instead of using cars, are you very opinionated about global warming and climate change or is it just a personal wish?

I suppose I am quite opinionated about sustainibility, yes. I think we have a responsibility to live in a way that doesn’t destroy the environment. Cycling reduces the amount of traffic and therefore the amount of air and noise pollution plus it’s really good for your own physical and mental health. There is a lot of speculation about how much human impact has actually contributed to climate change but scientists definitely think we can slow it by changing our bad cultural habits. Maybe charging people for plastic bags at all supermarkets would be a more realistic start to slowing down our environmentally wasteful lifestyles than banning all cars though eh!! Or encouraging more cycle programmes at schools!
