• Question: Your work mostly involves biology, did you enjoy the other sciences at school?

      I did enjoy other sciences – I did biology, chemistry, physics and geography at A-level, so I got lots of experience of other science as well.

      I now work in a psychology department and even though I don’t know much about some of the science that my colleagues do, it is really interesting as well.

      Biology covers a huge amount of stuff, from tiny little viruses to huge ecosystems with millions of plants and animals in them. However, it helps to be interested in other bits of science as well to understand biology better (and maths is really important in biology).
